BIOGRAPHY
Jeanette is a Registered Mental Health Intern, who graduated from Capella University with a Masters of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology with specializations in Clinical Counseling and Sex Therapy. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and groups in regard to mental health issues, trauma, stress management, adjustment issues, attention and focus issues, and anger management. Additionally, she can assist with the grieving process, behavioral issues, school issues, communications, self-harming behaviors, sexual issues, and issues with self-confidence and self-esteem.
She has worked treating Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, PTSD, and various other diagnoses and has experience working with patients on the Autism Spectrum, as well as high severity patients. Jeanette utilizes different techniques that are most appropriate for individual patients and that assist in keeping the best therapeutic, trusting relationship. She has experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness training, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, solution-focused, client-centered, and Christian-based approaches.
