Hannah Orozco

Hannah Orozco is a mental health counselor at Social Care Services. She believes that everyone can benefit from counseling! Her hope is to provide a calming and affirmative place to promote healing from diffusing physical and emotional challenges related to trauma, depression, and anxiety. She offers a fresh perspective, valuing respect, honesty, and acceptance, to initiate positive growth and change.

Hannah has worked for over 15 years in the field of clinical psychology and counseling. In 2013, she earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at the Friedrich-Alexander University in Nuremberg, Germany. She gained experience in adult education as a research assistant and helped individuals with a history of trauma as a therapist before she obtained another Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Walden University in 2020. Since 2017, Hannah has been supporting the military community at the non-profit organization Paws4people by providing case management to veterans and activity duty service members with mental or physical disabilities who seek the assistance of a service dog. Before joining Social Care Services in October 2022, she worked as a school-based therapist with children and their families.

In her 15 years of experience, Hannah has worked with clients from the age of 6-79, gaining experience in a variety of issues. She is confident that she can help you and/or your family members address and develop strategies for managing complex trauma, abuse, women’s issues, Depression, Anxiety and panic, relationship issues, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, grief and loss, and stress management. Coming from an ex-pat background, she understands the challenges of language barriers, cultural differences, and starting a new life in the United States. As a military spouse, she also provides support to the military community because she understands the challenges they often face.

Hannah works from an attachment-based and strength-based orientation, using techniques of Internal Family Systems, Expressive Art Therapy, CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, and other mindfulness therapies.  Allow her to assist you in leading a life free from worry, stress, or disappointment!
